About

Unwind in this beautiful 1920's Historical home in Boise's walkable Northend. Timeless architecture is merged with modern luxury for a practical and comfortable stay. The large entryway greets you with large, bright windows and tasteful quartersawn oak hardwood floors. Bring out your inner chef in the kitchen designed by a chef from The Culinary Institue of America. You'll get to relax in a home filled with modern convenience and historical charm.

Good to know

The main level of the home is graced with beautiful quarter-sawn oak hardwood floors. The entryway foyer is welcoming and allows you the option of heading into the comfortable living room and adjacent workspaces or heading upstairs to 3 of the 4 bedrooms. Off of the living room is the formal dining, great for gathering for a meal. Just off the formal dining room is the large, open kitchen. You can cook to your heart's content and even sip your coffee and share a meal at the island bar. Behind the kitchen is a full bath that can be made private by simply closing the connecting door thereby making the main level bedroom en suite. Adjacent to the kitchen and dining is a flexible space good for setting up a buffet or working on your laptop. Within this space is access to the main level half bath. Upstairs is comfortably carpeted and well suited for a good night's sleep or an afternoon nap. There are three bedrooms with a full bath for two of the rooms, and the third room has an en suite with a shower. During the summer months, you can relax on the rooftop patio, enjoy a cup of coffee and watch the sunrise or sip a glass of wine and watch a sunset. Finally, downstairs, in the basement, there is a large unfurnished room that you're welcome to let the kids run around in, in the future, it may become a second living area with a theater. Also downstairs is the laundry room with a full sized washer and dryer.

Other Details to Note

The basement is unfurnished but you're welcome to use it. Please do not light a fire in either of the fireplaces. There is a door at the top of the stairs, upstairs that goes into the attic. Please do not go up there, for whatever strange reason. The rooftop patio is for your enjoyment, however, please do not leave children unattended up there. Also, do not wear high-heels, spikes, or any other sharp footwear on the rooftop balcony, it will puncture the rubber membrane. There is one TV in the house, located in the living room. If your group desires more on screen entertainment, you may want to bring a laptop.

This rental was an absolute gem! My family was taking our youngest son to begin his freshman year at Boise State and we needed a "base of operations" for the rest of us who'd traveled over to see him off. Aaron and Kelly's rental was ideal. Plenty of rooms for our crew to bed down in and so conveniently near the university. There were probably a lot of other things to do in the home that we didn't take advantage of, but what and where we needed it to be, it was. Aaron and Kelly (along with their co-host Pam) are truly pros when it comes to providing an excellent vacation rental experience. We would gladly return to this or any other properties they manage because of their responsiveness to our communications and because we got EXACTLY from them what they promised us - a lovely and convenient place to stay.

Aaron and Kelly’s place was perfect for our big group that was in town for a wedding. So much space, multiple big bathrooms, clean and comfortable all around, and a beautiful, walkable neighborhood. It was a great value too! We all loved it and would stay here again!

What a lovely, spacious home in an absolutely fantastic location! The kitchen had everything needed to cook meals, coffee was provided, tons of sitting room/common spaces. The location next to Hyde Park couldn't be better too, as well as the proximity to downtown Boise.

Beautiful home in a great location to downtown Boise! Very well appointed, clean and check-in was easy. Lots of space for the six adults in our party. Walked every morning to a lovely coffee shop and stores. Would definitely book again!
