Good to know

We launched this renovated 106 year old North End triplex to delight our guests. Steampunk captures memorabilia from the armed services and a bit of sci-fi to deliver an experience you won't forget. The Steampunk unit is the front apartment and shares a wall and a ceiling with the other neighbors, but no shared amenities or spaces. Outdoor amenities include cruiser bikes, a propane BBQ grill and patio furniture with umbrellas to keep the sun out. These are all encapsulated within a fenced yard area for your comfort. This unit has ~650 square feet of living space. Please note, there are a few steps up to the front door.

Other Details to Note

Please be advised that we have security cameras on the outside of the building to let us know when people check in and out. The front porch has a motion sensor light that turns on, and turns off every 30 seconds when there is no motion. Standard check in time is 3pm and check-out time is 11am. Guests looking to inquire about early check in or late check out - we evaluate these on a case-by-case basis, depending on cleaning schedules and balancing other reservations. We try to accommodate these requests where possible, but not guaranteed.

We think the North End is what Boise is all about! Whether you want to hike a trail in Camels Back Park or head for a bite and a sip at the 13th Street Pub, there is no shortage of things to do.

Guest Access

You will have the front unit of the triplex home and also a wraparound patio with outdoor furniture to enjoy the weather. There is a shared shed for storing cruiser bikes that you can use during your stay, and also a shared basement laundry facility for your convenience. The laundry facility is shared by the 3 apartments in this building.

Loved the location. It was less than 5 minutes from my meeting downtown and we were able to walk to the Co-op for food and enjoy a stroll through the north end. Hosts were great.

Phil and Dana are true Superhosts and their North End Steampunk home was a great experience. Communication was second to none and the place was exactly as described. The three choices of coffee were a major bonus! There are two other units and the property is located on a corner but was surprisingly quiet. Hyde Park is a few blocks away with some great food options (including the 13th Street Pub) and access to downtown is very easy. The decor was a unique combination of Steampunk and Cold War Patriotism. As a Cold War kid, this brought back memories! We are frequent visitors to Boise and I very much look forward to staying here again!

Beautiful location that was really close to downtown. Loved the steampunk decor and all the little touches that made the space interesting and inviting. Hosts were very responsive and friendly. An excellent choice for someone who wants a quiet, beautiful tree-lined street that's still really close to all the dining and activities Boise has to offer. Hope to visit again soon!

Our property is situated about 8 blocks north of the State Capitol and is a convenient walk to downtown or St Lukes. There is street parking available for this unit and there are cruiser bikes in the shed to take for a spin around town.
